1. Who we are
Pick is operated by Mindstone Labs. This page explains what we collect during the invite-only beta and how we use it.
2. What we collect
When you create an account we store: your email, a username/display name, an optional avatar, and an authentication identifier. If you sign in with Google, X, or Discord, we receive a basic profile (name, email, avatar). We store the Picks you make, your Pick Points balance, achievements, leaderboard placements, follows, and similar in-app activity needed to run the product.
3. How we use it
We use your data to run your account, show your Picks and stats, power leaderboards and competitions, send essential service emails (signup confirmation, password reset), and improve the product. We don't sell your personal data.
4. Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Lovable for hosting; and standard email infrastructure for transactional auth emails. Aggregated/anonymous analytics may be used to understand product usage. Each provider only receives the data needed for that function.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember UI preferences, and store guest Picks before you sign up. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your choices
You can edit your profile, change your password, or delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and Picks from active use (some records may be retained briefly for abuse prevention and legal compliance).
7. Children
Pick is for users 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes & contact
We may update this policy during the beta. Reach us at @pickdotmarket on X for any privacy question.
